Our Delivery Service

At Paving Place we know how important it is for your delivery to be quick, efficient and on time. This is why we use our own specialist vehicles to deliver your paving if delivery is within the radius of our Midlands branches. Our friendly delivery drivers will do everything they can to deliver your paving exactly where you need it. No job is too difficult or awkward as we can deploy the right vehicle for the job with our 45 strong fleet of varied, specialist vehicles.Third-party couriers will only ever be able to drop your items outside your door, but our top of the range cranes can delicately place your paving by remote control over almost any obstacle.

Nationwide Paving Delivery 

Orders for Porcelain Paving, Paving Accessories and Drainage will be delivered on a third party pallet delivery service from Palletways. Palletways deliver on 18 tonne trucks with tail lift (dimensions: 12m Long, 4m Height, 2.8m Wide). Please ensure your delivery location has enough space for these vehicles and is free from obstacles (such as low hanging trees, overhead lines etc). The vehicles will only deliver and operate on hard flat surfaces such as concrete, block paving or tarmac. They don't operate on soft/loose ground. Pallet deliveries are to the kerbside only with a manual pump truck. Signature will be required at the point of delivery. If an item cannot be delivered for any of the above reasons a re-delivery charge will apply.

  • Kindly be aware that unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may cause small delays in the delivery. We advise against scheduling any tradesmen until the product has been physically received. 
  • The delivery is facilitated by third-party pallet couriers equipped with tail-lifts and manual pump trucks. They provide a Kerbside drop or delivery to the nearest access point on a hard surface.
  • Re-delivery charges apply if no one is present at the address to sign.
  • Should you discover any breakages, kindly inform the driver and promptly notify us.
  • If you are unable to physically inspect the product, please sign the POD as "damaged" and notify us of any breakages within 24 hours, accompanied by relevant photographs sent via email.
  • While we meticulously inspect our products and ensure that no individual slab departs the yard in a broken state, please account for a 10% allowance for breakages, chips, and corner damage during transport, given the nature of the product.
  • Paving Place will offer to either replace or provide a partial refund for any breakages that occur during transit. It is the customer's responsibility to notify us within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Third-party Hauliers/Couriers utilise a truck equipped with a tail lift and manual pump truck for deliveries, offering a Kerbside Drop Service only. In cases where the property features loose gravel chipping, soft ground, or is situated on an elevated surface impeding the pump truck's passage, the product will be delivered at the nearest suitable area.
  • Should your driveway be accessible by the delivery truck, the product may be unloaded onto it with your explicit permission. This action will be carried out solely based on your agreement. Any additional services provided are exclusively between the customer and the Haulier and are not considered part of the contract between our company and the customer.
  • Customers must be present at the property on the designated delivery days to sign for the products. We strongly advise inspecting the products upon delivery by carefully removing the plastic wrapping and banding to check for any damages. While every effort is made to deliver goods in perfect condition, in the rare event that you receive a faulty or damaged product, please contact us immediately while the driver is still present.
  • The buyer is accountable for notifying us of any access issues before placing an order. In the event that no one is available at the property to sign for the delivery or if the property is inaccessible, re-delivery charges will be incurred.
  • In the rare event that you decide to return your order, we are willing to accept it under the condition that the product remains in its original packaging and in a resalable condition. The customer is responsible for arranging the return at their own expense and ensuring the proper packaging for transit. Returns are only accepted for full packs, and a 20% restocking charge will be applied. Additionally, transport costs, being a third-party service, will be deducted from the refund amount. If the product is returned via our Haulier, the associated cost must still be covered by the customer.
  • Refunds for the goods will be processed within 14 days upon receiving the returned items, following a thorough inspection. Please note that returns of excess product or leftovers cannot be accepted. We disclaim responsibility for any consequential loss incurred due to delays in receiving the goods.

Nationwide Barbecue Delivery 

Orders for barbeques and their accessories outside of our local delivery area will be delivered by our third-party courier services direct to your door. Barbecues weighing up to 35kgs and accessories will be delivered on Next Working Day delivery with DPD Local if ordered before 1.00pm Monday to Friday. Heavier barbecues will be delivered by either 2MHD or BJS Extra on a 2 man delivery, typically within 5 working days. Once you have ordered, the appropriate courier service will give you a call confirming when you would like your order to be delivered. You will also then be given a tracking number so that you can keep tabs on the progress of your delivery. Deliveries for paving and aggregates outside our local delivery area are available at an additional cost which is calculated at the checkout.

How Much Will The Delivery Cost?

All barbeque and accessory deliveries have a £9.99 charge for orders under £149. For barbeque and accessory orders over £150, delivery is free of charge. Paving orders under £500 to areas around our branches cost £48, orders over £500 are free. Deliveries for paving and aggregates outside our local delivery area are available at an additional cost which is calculated at the checkout depending on the weight of the products and your location.

How Long Will Delivery Take?

Landscaping orders are delivered within 3 working days locally by our specialist fleet. Larger barbecues and grill will also be delivered locally by our Luton Box vans within 3 days of order.
