While the vast majority of our deliveries arrive within the stated timescales, delays can occasionally occur due to factors beyond our control, including lost pallets in transit, vehicle breakdowns, access restrictions, road closures, difficult terrain, parked vehicles and other unforeseen issues.
Allow extra time
Deliveries may occasionally be delayed by up to one working day due to circumstances beyond our control. We strongly advise that you do not book any tradespeople until your goods have been received.
Kerbside delivery only
Deliveries are carried out by third-party couriers using tail-lift vehicles and manual pump trucks. This service is kerbside delivery only, or to the nearest accessible hard standing area. If you have selected HIAB or Moffett delivery, the final placement of goods will be at the driver's discretion based on site conditions.
Signature required
A signature is required upon delivery. If no one is available to sign, re-delivery charges may apply. To avoid this, the driver may leave the goods unsigned with prior agreement.
Inspect on arrival
Please inspect your order on arrival. Any visible damage should be reported to the driver and to us immediately. If you are unable to fully check the goods at the time of delivery, please sign the delivery note as "damaged" and notify us within 24 hours with supporting photographs.
Allow up to 10% breakage
All products leave our distribution centre fully checked; however, due to the nature of paving materials and transportation, a small level of damage may occur. Please allow up to 10% for minor chips or breakages. Where damage exceeds this threshold, we will offer a replacement or partial refund, provided this is reported within a reasonable timeframe.
Access restrictions
If access to your property is restricted (e.g. gravel, soft ground, slopes, or obstructions), goods will be left at the nearest suitable location. Offloading onto your driveway is only carried out with your permission and at your own risk. Any additional handling requests are strictly between you and the courier.
HIAB & Moffett deliveries
For HIAB or Moffett deliveries carried out by Walter Tipper Limited (Tippers), the driver will agree a suitable offload location with you based on access, ground conditions and equipment reach.
Inform us of access issues
It is the customer's responsibility to inform us of any access issues prior to delivery. Failed deliveries due to access restrictions or absence will incur re-delivery charges.
Returns
If you wish to return goods, they must be in their original packaging and in resaleable condition. Returns are the customer's responsibility and must be arranged at your own cost. Only full packs can be returned, and a 20% restocking charge will apply. Delivery costs are non-refundable.
Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of returned goods being received and inspected. We cannot accept returns of surplus or leftover materials, and we are not liable for any consequential losses due to delivery delays.
The 10am rule: orders placed and paid before 10am are dispatched the same day. After 10am moves to the next working day.
